Children are known for their purity and innocence, but 

eventually, we outgrow our childish charms and become adults.

Looking back at photographs from my childhood, I had no idea that I would be writing for the web or working toward a masters degree. What did you think you'd grow up to be when you were a child? Did your life turn out the way you imagined?

While most children dream of becoming firefighters or astronauts, some are destined for atrocity. The world has had its fair share of evil-doers throughout history, but as innocent-looking children, no one could have known that they would grow up to become monsters.

Even innocent children can turn into criminals. Seeing these historical figures as kids makes me wonder whether nature or nurture is to blame. Maybe it's both.
